Why Paul Ryan shouldn’t run for President on 2012

As a democrat, take away Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Don Trump, Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld. Paul Ryan would be my number one choice for their Nomination for President. I mean what would be Rep. Ryan by the way a US Representative, who roughly represents 600,000 people. Who doesn’t even represent a State. Sitting US Reps have never won a major US Party Nomination for President. At least in a hundred years. He’s also someone with no Foreign Policy experience. All of his experience is economic related and in the House sitting on committees. Where he was Ranking Member of the Budget Committee from 2007-11 and now in his sixth month as Chairman of that Committee. He’s in his seventh term in the House and this by far is the biggest job he’s ever had. The man is 40 years old, five years older then me. Because of his Medicare plan and how unpopular it has become, he’s decided not to run for the Senate. So he’s not even ready for Statewide Office let alone National Office.

This is not going to happen, he’s actually a very bright guy and understands Fiscal Policy very well. But he’s simply not ready for High Office yet and he knows that. But what would his Campaign Message be, vote for me if you want to end Medicare, trying selling that in Florida. Where republicans have to win to win the White House and control the House. Good luck selling that there with a high Senior Population. Which essentially what his plan does by turning it into a Voucher System. Democrats would have a field day with a Ryan Presidential Campaign. He would be are new Whipping Boy replacing Newt Gingrich and The Donald Trump.

One of my favorite actors Clint Eastwood has a saying which is perfect for this situation. A man’s got to know his limitations, I believe Paul Ryan in this case does. Which is why he won’t run for President. But how much fun for democrats it would be if he did.
