No Freedom Without Privacy

▶ Solveig Singleton: Privacy and Freedom – YouTube.

You can forget about freedom with out the right to privacy that protects you from government and the private sector. Not that those institutions are bad necessarily but these protections are there to protect people from abuses. Because without privacy, there is no freedom because government or the private sector can use your information against you or even in some cases. For you but they wouldn’t need you consent before they did that. Also without the right to privacy, individuals and government could break into people’s homes and other properties. Without consent because without privacy there isn’t property rights that protects people from government and individuals.
